Yo creía que lo mas difícil de ser madre era el embarazo, aunque hice un curso pisco profiláctico no sabia muy bien a que se referían o definitivamente uno asimila las cosas cuando le suceden y las vives en carne propia. Di a luz a un hermoso bebe, una cesárea muy tranquila y ahí fue donde todo empezó... Algo que yo tenia muy claro era que quería y debía dar teta y darle formula a mi bebe, aunque nadie me lo había recomendado ni tampoco tuve alguna experiencia cercana sobre el tema, solo tenía esa convicción en mente. Y así me lo propuse! No tenia idea de lo difícil y el sacrificio que implica, sobretodo al inicio. Esos primeros días me sentía una esclava, estaba agotada, sin dormir, frustrada, gracias a Lorena que estuvo acompañándome día a día en mi casa, literalmente junto a mi, escuchándome, aconsejándome sobre como sanar mis pezones rotos, las posturas adecuadas para amamantar, como ordenarme manualmente para evitar una mastitis, como almacenar mi leche, distinguir los llantos de mi bebe para saber si tenia hambre, sueño, quería que lo cambiara, de no ser así estoy segura que hubiese desistido sobre dar de amamantar a mi hijo, si embargo, dure año y dos meses con Lactancia Materna Exclusiva. Mi primer hijo sufrió mucho de cólicos y le era muy difícil relajarse, por lo que me enseñó los masajes para bebés, eso lo ayudo muchísimo, tanto el como yo nos relajábamos, disfrutábamos ese momento y lo ayudaba a dormir mejor. Con mi segunda hija no fue muy distinto, aunque sabia a lo que me enfrentaba, hubo pezones rotos, dolor en los senos, me asesoro una vez más sobre como ordenarme para aliviar el dolor, mejorar el agarre, refrescamos los masajes para ayudar en caso de cólicos y para relajar a mi bebe. Mi beba tiene 3 meses y se mantiene con Lactancia Materna Exclusiva.

However, i breastfeed for the first year and two months Exclusive. My first child suffered a lot of colic and it was very difficult to relax, so she teach me about baby massages, that helped a lot, both he and I relaxed, we enjoyed that moment and helped him sleep better. Unos meses antes que naciera Lucas la emoción me invadía y con mi firme convicción de que quería brindarle a mi hijo la oportunidad y bendición de amamantarlo y me comuniqué con Lore, gran amiga y colega para que nos diera una charla a un grupo de mamás que estábamos con la misma emoción pero a la vez la mismas inseguridades en cuanto a la lactancia, y fue así como Lore nos dio una charla maravillosa donde aprendimos los secretos de la lactancia materna. El día que nació Lucas intenté aplicar todos los conocimientos pero entre la emoción e incertidumbre no sabía si lo estaba haciendo bien y ahí llego "súper Lore" reviso la postura, el agarre, pero todo eso para mí fue lo de menos... Lo más importante para mí fue la seguridad que me dio tenerla a mi lado, con su voz suave y su sonrisa constante logre en 1 hora el agarre perfecto...gracias a Lore pudimos amamantar exclusivamente a Lucas y digo pudimos porque para Lore es clave el involucrar a papá y definitivamente es una clave del éxito en la lactancia...todos los días le doy gracias Dios y a la Virgen Santísima por haber puesto a Lore en mi camino para que me acompañara el proceso.

Uno de los momentos más importantes en nuestras vidas fue el momento de salir embarazados, ya que habíamos tenido una pérdida y rápidamente salimos de nuevo gracias a Dios. Cuando uno es mamá primeriza nos llenamos de mil dudas y preguntas. Al principio me cuestioné si necesitaríamos asesoría o nos dejábamos llevar por el instinto, sin embargo a la final después de conversar con mi esposo decidimos buscar ayuda con el tema de lactancia materna exclusiva con Lorena Jiménez (Famikids). A Lorena la conocía desde hace años, pero el vínculo que se hizo desde esa primera charla que acudimos con otras parejas fue increíble y en ese momento decidimos que sería nuestra guía en esta nueva etapa de nuestras vidas. Tener la oportunidad de aclarar todas las dudas con respecto a la Lactancia Materna Exclusiva y que mi esposo se sintiera parte importante del mismo proceso fue clave para sentirnos seguros de nuestra decisión de darle leche materna a nuestro hijo. Ya con fecha de cesárea en mano quisimos que Lorena nos acompañara ese día. Para orientarnos ya con el bebé toda la teoría que habíamos aprendido, lo que no sabíamos es que el bebé decidió salir antes, fue prematuro y se complicó un poco y tenía que ir a la UCI unos días, eso fue casi amaneciendo y nos dan la noticia que tienen que llevarlo a otra clínica, nosotros estábamos demasiado nerviosos y tristes por la noticia. Jamás se me olvidará que la primera persona que vi saliendo del quirófano aparte de mi familia fue a Lorena. Recuerdo que le pedí a mi esposo y mamá que nada más entrara ella porque en medio de mi angustia y desesperación de no tener al bebe conmigo sabía que me necesitaba calmar y sabía que en ella lo podría lograr. Y así fue Lorena me guió ese día con la extracción de leche materna porque se la tenía que mandar al bebe a la otra clínica y a mi me calmó y me hizo sentir segura para recuperarme rápido y al día siguiente poder estar con mi hijo. Ya lo demás fue añadidura una Lactancia Materna por 6 meses, mi esposo pieza clave los primeros días con ayuda de Lorena que nos hacía visitas en la casa para ayudarnos con tema de colocación del bebé, ese era el papel importante de mi esposo, ayudarme con una postura correcta. Luego con sus alimentos complementarios jamás tomó formula y por eso fue y sigue siendo tan sano Jesús Ignacio. Una de las piezas más claves de mi maternidad fue Lorena Jiménez y agradezco de ella tener una respuesta precisa de su parte a tantas preguntas realizadas en todo este proceso que siempre generaron seguridad y tranquilidad.

Already with cesarean date in hand we wanted Lorena to accompany us that day. To guide us with the baby all the theory we had learned, what we did not know is that the baby decided to born earlier, he was premature and complicated a little and had to go to the NICU afew days, that was really hard for us and they give us the news that they have to take him to another clinic, we were too nervous and sad about the news. I will never forget that the first person I saw leaving the operating room apart from my family was Lorena. I remember that I asked my husband and mother to only allow Lorena to be with me because in the middle of my anguish and despair of not having the baby with me I knew that I needed tocalm down and I knew that she could make me do it. And so Lorena led me that day with the extraction of breast milk because I had to send the baby to the other clinic and she calmed me and made me feel safe to recover quickly and the next day to be with my son. The rest of the story was added: a Breastfeeding for 6 months, my husband was a key the first few days with the help of Lorena who made us visits in the house to help us with baby latch, that was the important role of my husband, help me with a correct posture while I was breastfeeding. Then with his complementary foods never took formula and that is why Jesus Ignacio was and still is so healthy. Luego de tener a un bebe comienza una de las etapas mas importantes según mi opinión y es la lactancia materna. Causa angustia, intranquilidad y hasta miedo... Qué si te duele, que no comas esto o aquello, que el bebé buchea, que no le sustenta, que si no te sale, que queda con hambre o que te sale mucho y se puede ahogar... Tantas cosas que te pueden abrumar... Mi consejo: Rodéate de personas que te ayuden, te motiven, pero sobre todo que sean expertas en lactancia materna y que sus recomendaciones sean objetivas y acertadas... Por eso hoy con los 6 meses de mi beba y su graduación de lactancia materna te agradezco enormemente no sólo los masajes que me enseñaste sino todas esas charlas llenas de dudas que siempre nos aclaraste tanto a mi mami como a mí... Hoy concluimos las clases de masajes mi mama y yo. Y por ese logro nos dieron un diploma y hasta con birrete lo recibimos!!! Beneficios de los masajes comprobados por mi mama y yo: 1. Mi sueño ha mejorado considerablemente, antes yo no hacía siestas diurnas por lo que al final del día estaba muyyy cansada y lloraba mucho, ahora hago hasta 4 siestas incluyendo una larga de 3 horas 🙂 . 2. Mi llanto ha mejorado aún más considerablemente, al punto que ya no armo berrinches sino que pido las cosas con amor y sutileza como una gatita je je 3. Más nunca sufrí de los mal llamados cólicos. 4. La conexión con mi mama es mucho más intensa en ese momento y realmente ambas lo disfrutamos, hemos invitado a papa pero creo que le da miedito pues soy algo frágil, el solo me tira besos y habla mientras mamá me da el masaje. Que si los masajes son buenos? Milagros de vida, felicidad absoluta angelitos guerreros!! Los días parecen eternos, la sensación de tener un bebe prematuro es inexplicable pero es en ese momento donde se refuerza la fe, aprendemos a dar el doble de gracias a Dios y a la Virgen, nadie te enseña como ser padres pero solo entiendes que debes estar bien y vivir por ellos para darle los mejor, que si ellos están luchando tan chiquitos a ti solo te queda luchar con ellos!! Aferrarte a lo maravilloso que Dios te regalo, entender la bendición que es traer vida al mundo y aunque sea duro no afligirte sino agradecer la vida, orar por el bien y saber que luego pasa y tendrás todos los días de tu vida a un milagrito en tu casa que el día de mañana te llamara mami o papi... Y entenderás que todo valió la pena, que Dios no da guerras a quien no pueda con ellas y aprenderás a valorar el doble a Dios a tu familia y veras la vida como si todo es un milagro entenderás que todo se da por que Dios lo quiso así... Te dolerán todos los niños del mundo y brindaras tu apoyo porque María Mercedes es nuestra guerrera y es nuestro milagro que Dios y la Virgen nos mandaron con pruebas difíciles pero gracias a ellos con una beba ya en casa feliz, sana muy sana y ahora con muchas ganas de comer y disfrutar de su familia, familia y amigos. Y especialmente aprovecho para recomendar a ojos cerrados a Lore de @famikids ya que nos ayudo y preparo desde antes del nacimiento a las abuelitas, a su papi y a mi a adelantarnos lo que venia a ayudarnos en mi sueño de dar Lactancia Materna Exclusiva y hacer que lo lográramos aún cuando por nacer unos días antes creí que no sería posible Lore nos ayudo y nos enseño como hacer y como guardar paciencia para el momento de nuestro encuentro! Conocí a Lorena a través de una compañera del curso profilactico que hicimos estando embarazadas, el primer contacto con ella fue en la clase de masaje infantil cuando Juan Andrés mi hijo tenía 4 meses desde ahí comenzó este acompañamiento que se mantiene vigente hasta el día de hoy que Juan Andrés ya tiene 2 años y medios ella me transmitía seguridad, confianza y sobretodo me brindaba el apoyo y orientación que necesitaba como madre primeriza. En cada clase de masaje infantil llevaba una cantidad de dudas sobre lactancia, apego seguro, llanto y siempre salía con todas las dudas resultas y hasta con más conocimiento de la crianza respetuosa. Como grupo de mamás cuando ya se estaban acercando a los 2 años le pedimos nos diera una charla sobre rabieta y fue muy completa y salimos satisfechas de toda la explicación del desarrollo de nuestros hijos. Lorena con su carisma, dedicación y profesionalismo me ha ayudado muchísimo a llevar este rol de mamá con más tranquilidad, seguridad y sobre todo con el conocimiento necesario del desarrollo evolutivo de mi hijo.
